Sometimes I wish I could do so many things at once. Owning a dope with became a lifestyle for me after high school. It was just part of the click I sometimes got up with. We would even trade whips for a day or two. Miss them days, but always creating the new days. This might be nothing like that but I wanted to share that thought. Here's this piece from Vice I just saw about "Shutting Down the Streets of LA | Sideshow Takeovers. Looks like its getting a lot of negative feedback. The first comment is a but funny but probably real spit.
Originating in the Bay Area, “sideshows” are events where participants shut down busy public intersections and perform car stunts such as donuts, burnouts, and drifts.
In Los Angeles, one of the biggest sideshow car clubs is TAKING 0VER and every Sunday, members from TAKING 0VER and other car clubs participate in an unsanctioned sideshow event called Sunday Funday. We visit Los Angeles to spend a day with TAKING 0VER members and get a closer look at the risks they take to put on the sideshows they love.

DāM-FunK returns with a seven song listening experience titled: STFU II. The follow up to 2015’s STFU. This 2019 Glydezone Recordings released project kicks off with the heavy knock and breezy synths of ‘The Flow’, while ‘Hood Biz’ is a more ominous, street-funk anchored groove. The ‘Inhale, Exhale (Interlude)’ is the equilibrium that opens up the second half of the EP, highlighting DāM’s melodic laid-back funk. In discussing his inspirations for the EP, DāM explains “In this time of colossal distractions, easy trouble online, heavy trolling and cancel culture, this project provides an alternative to instead..just lay back, take a deep breath, stay outta trouble and simply ‘glyde’ for a while. From the beat to the suits in the beginning sets the tone the somewhat similar, this is the 2019 version. I love the work Eif Rivera reminds me of Hype Williams. The joint might grow on me just because I'm a huge fan of that sound but also you gotta support someone who is doing things to show the love he has for his son. Imagine someone from the hood coming up and establishing himself to a point he can just put out a whole album dedicated to his son and his life.

We all have felt with trauma, I’ve learned it’s not about what happens to you it’s about how you handle it. As men we deal with so much that we don’t talk about but I think it’s time we free ourselves from the bondage of our pain. Most people would probably stay away from remixing a classic like this, but its refreshing to hear Aaliyah on this and makes you want to throw it in your DJ set or music playlist because of that bounce. Following his debut album Here 4 Me Only, Mani Coolin’ is back with the release of his new single “Shine” produced by T. Reg and Josh Gray.
