Chicago Hip-Hop Takes Center Stage

I'd like to know what Chicago Artist think about this right here. Are Chicago artist too independent? Do we need more direction in the music industry? Should we strive toward a Chicago based Record label, instead of searching out of state? After all, this is our city. We are the city's talent. Isn't it our responsibility to give back to the community that shaped us? I personally feel that this is the monumental time to learn and grow amongst our peers. Home is where the heart is. Some people need to remember that.
